Call it Intuition

With the New Year Here

It’s a new year ! An opportunity to begin again and refresh or to be moved towards change. Maybe your path is carved so deep that you will continue any unfinished art endeavors that need more evolving techniques or begin again on a fresh new journey.

Are you experiencing Glimmers or Sparks? Are you visualizing faint and wavering light inspirations that come and go or pop up? Or are you experiencing stronger sparks of feelings, visuals and curiosity form more  exploration and skill building this year?

Now is the time for reflection and new growth.

Ask yourself what did you find helpful last year. Was it the new art supplies, techniques or new subjects?

Maybe you feel soulfully directed to exploring some more creative ideas and /or  engaging on a new topic.

Sometimes we want it all

My mind s racing with more ideas and where my artistic adventures will bring me.in 2025

Many have already begun exploring and developing new Nature Journals.

Connecting with Nature and slowing down which is always a good step.

Are you finding inspirational artists, cultures or mediums that inspire you!

What we need to do is start

Open up your journal or your paints and find something that moves you .

It may be a line

For me it is reading about the 72 Micro seasons in Japan

Pursuing supplies at a local art shop or an online catalog

Playing with new tools and mediums

Sketching Blind contour drawings with the The Whole Seed Catalogs beautiful Photos

and lastly

join one or more of my natural journal hikes or classes this year !
